Reducing Our Carbon Footprint...
We are committed to minimising our environmental impact. We rely solely on sea freight for shipping to the UK—this is the most efficient method for our range of products. Additionally, our UK delivery partners are dedicated to reducing their emissions.
We prioritise sourcing wood from trees that have reached the end of their fruit-bearing life cycle, thus preventing the need for burning and reducing carbon emissions.
Our efforts extend to supporting tree planting initiatives, which contribute to carbon absorption, create wildlife habitats, and improve soil health.
We also source wood from regenerative commercial plantations, such as solid mango wood, repurposing materials that would otherwise be discarded, further supporting our sustainability mission.

Additionally, all fabrics used are fire retardant, ensuring safety and peace of mind in your home.

At Leather & Down’s, we are committed to going plastic-free, a mission we embarked on in 2022.
While alternatives materials may cost more to produce and ship, we believe it is our ethical duty to provide plastic-free options to our customers. We don’t think it’s fair to charge extra for making environmentally responsible choices, so we have decided not to increase prices for plastic-free packaging. Rest assured, our commitment to quality remains unwavering, and our products will continue to meet our usual high standards.
